Open Position: Allround Store & Market Personnel (8-16 hrs/week)

Always Summer is growing, and we’re looking for a versatile Allround Store & Market Personnel to join our team! This role is perfect for someone who can handle a variety of tasks; from working in our store and running craft markets to assisting with organizational duties and a few social media content.
We’re looking for someone who is communicative, trustworthy, and reliable, with a retail background and an eye for detail. If you're excited to be part of a small, mission-driven team, this could be the perfect fit!
Who Are We Looking For?
You’re the right match if you:
-Are excited about our mission to support local craftsmen in the Philippines
-Have a background in retail, and are comfortable assisting customers
-Are communicative, reliable, responsive and trustworthy
-Love small businesses and have an entrepreneurial mindset
-Are organized, presentable, and love working with jewelry
-Have experience taking photos and creating content for social media
-Can work independently and solve problems on the go
-Speak Dutch and communicate well with clients
-Have a driver’s license and access to a car (very important for market days!)
-Live in Leiden or Amsterdam (For our Markets)
What You'll Do:
-Assist customers in our Leiden store (stocking, organizing, updating the website, customer service)
-Manage craft markets, including setting up, selling, assisting customers, and packing up
-Visit stores where our products are sold to restock and organize displays
-Take photos for our social media and help manage our online presence
-Potentially take on additional tasks like promotions or business development
Practical Details:
-Work partly on weekdays (Wed-Fri) and weekends (Saturday or Sunday)
-Store shifts are fixed; market schedules vary month to month
-You’ll need a car and driver’s license to handle market duties
Extra availability in December for our Christmas Market in The Hague is preferred
